SHIFT II
Once,
I
decided to write a poem
Cuckoo
called to write about its song
The
sky showed its glittering stars
Trees
nodded their branches
Tides
waved happily
The
night dragged my thoughts into silence
Suddenly
my alarm bell woke me up
Only
to find my paper empty
Hi Abarna,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all my wishes for your attempt to write a poem. You know, there are two works which i feel really jealous of. That's Shahina's poem "What to write?" and yes, this one of yours. I am so much in admiration for the theme both of your works hold. Thumbs up for your catchy title. You say your paper is empty but in reality it's filled with witty words. The call of the "cuckoo", the description of the "sky, tides, trees etc..they all show the poetic skill hidden in you. The last three lines add the right touch to this piece. They bring an interesting twist in the tale and again take us back to the title where it all started. The "Empty Paper" isn't empty as the title seems. If you can write so much and call it an "Empty Paper" then I wish and hope to read more of your "Empty Papers".
THANKS FOR MAKING US READ A WELL WRITTEN EMPTY PAPER!
Aparna... your empty paper got 100 out of 100 in the exam and i hope you will do the same in the next exam..
